notice! After considerable thought and soul searching, I have decided to take my photography skills in a new direction. A strategy that will yield a more profitable result. Over the next 30 days all of the "girlie" imagery will disappear. Perception by most is that it's hurting more than helping, in the area of making photography profitable. Therefore, strategically, it is best to make a clean cut and develop an area that will be advantageous in the years ahead. I will still be available for private shoots and assignments for areas that I have had fun with over the past few years and appreciate all those models I have worked with. It truly has been fun, but it's time to move on.

1/11/09 family photos are the worst ever! had my family over yesterday for dinner to celebrate my sister's birthday. "we want to take a group picture", "we want to take a group picture", "we want to take a group picture"!!! Well, after i stalled long enough, i finally gave in and set everything up. What do I hear? "hurry up and take the f'n picture", "hurry up and take the f'n picture", "hurry up and take the f'n picture"!!! today, nobody is satisfied with the f'n picture!!! Why? Cuz they want a professional product... but don't want to take the time to get the professional product. haste makes waste. hindsight is always 20/20. end of rant!

12/15/09 workin' on some great stuff (images) from the mexico trip. it's taking a little time but it will be worth it. i'm out of the studio for the next couple of days so that will set me back a bit, but not a beg deal.
initial planning stages to head out to la and arizona late january until mid-february for a bunch of shoots. nothing concrete yet but just preliminary stages. I'll keep you posted.

11/20/09 I'd say we are in the home stretch. 3 more girls to process from my most recent Jamaican trip prior to putting the "best of" slide show together for your viewing pleasure. ...and then, I'm off to Mexico while trying to avoid the H1N1 Virus.
UPDATE: Just heard from the publisher of "The Great American Pinup Art" book that is due out in February. It appears that I will be sharing the cover of this coffee table style book as well as having my own chapter in the book! Very cool! I'll let you know where it's available once I get the details.

8/20/09 In the next few days the galleries will be down as things get moved around to make more room and the gallery section becomes a "members" gallery section. Over this summer period I have traveled extensively and have acquired a sizeable amount of content for your viewing pleasure. The reason I am switching over to a members gallery is that some of this content, while not pornography by no means, is not suitable for those under 18yrs of age. The decision has been made to move forward with great anticipation in offering you beautiful photography in the areas of fashion, glamour, swimsuit, nude and artistic nude.
8/15/09 Wow, time flies. I just finished up with the girls from the Bahamas trip. It really was quite the opportunity to be able to shoot in such a fantastic location. The images will hit in the next few days on the gallery page of the site. ENJOY!!!

7/17/09 UPDATE! just got word that Melissa-anne (one of the models that I work with, will be on the HOWARD STERN SHOW on Monday. She is becoming a HOWARD.TV girl and they will be showing MY IMAGES!!! VERY COOL INDEED!
Additionally, OMP (onemodelplace.com) which is where my main photographers profile is for my model & commercial work is about to FEATURE my work on their site. Good things are happening.
If that isn't enough, SCHIFFER BOOKS will be announcing in March of 2010, for world-wide distribution, THE GREAT AMERICAN PIN-UP ART book. I will be one of the featured photographers in this book from the USA. Nice!

7/10/09 Took a little break from the TeaseUm Bikini project yesterday to produce the upcoming video "how to shoot 12 swimsuit poses in fifteen minutes" with my buddy Mike Brochu. My friend and model for the day was Melissa-Anne of "HEMIGIRL" fame. Watch for the DVD in the coming weeks.
In the meantime, Melissa and I grabbed a few shots and then we did her "PATRIOT GIRL'S FINEST" shoot. The whole day was a blast. HERE ARE SOME OF THE SHOTS.
6/29/09 Geez, I haven't even finished one project yet and I'm off to the Bahamas to a private Island (Nygard Cay) with 20 models for a few days. Absolutely WILD!

4/9/09 Just finished up GINA'S glamour/boudoir shoot, however, she is a personel client, so they are not available in the galleria. Too bad / so sad. I seem to be getting more private stuff lately. Why is that? It's not Valentine's Day, which is usually when there is a spike in personel photos.
A couple of months ago I mentioned this, but it's even more important now. In a downturn economy, what the experts call a "SHAKEOUT", means getting rid of the deadwood and survival of the fittest, it is important to keep your name out there. Why? Because, let's say there are 5 of you doing the same kind of work, only 3 of you have high bills and loans to pay. With the work slowdown those 3 have to go and find some other kind of work just to stay above water. This means 3 got "shaken" out and 2 are left. The other person is laying low and slashing prices on his business and doing things for next to nothing just to stay in business. He's cutting corners wherever he can.. NOW is the time that you should be promoting yourself... keeping your name out there... in the public eye so to speak. Why again? Because when things turn around and people start looking for your services again... guess who's right there waiting.... YOU!!! If you are serious about what you do then...

3/5/09 Do you experience weird crap going on with EVERYTHING? Must be something in the air. Yesterday I was stepping in it everywhere I turned. Worked in Meredith last night and had to get a ride home. The truck will arrive back home today. Looks like the transmission is gone. GREAT!

This week I'll be at the Margate shooting Jessica & Dave's wedding on saturday. I think it will be the last outdoor wedding of the year.
Shot with ERIN who came in from Nova Scotia for the weekend. We did a great Fashion/Lingerie shoot. Watch for the Gallery coming soon. It was a little chilly for lingerie outside, so we spent the day in the studio. Here's a couple of the early edits from the shoot.

9/16/08 Not much going on this week.... except to watch the financial market go thru it's paces. WOW!
However, I'll be working with GSIL on their event this Thursday and shooting Whitney and Nick's wedding on Saturday.
Waiting for some materials to arrive for the upcoming NEW EDITING STYLE for the "fashion" images. For those "in the know" it means the regular skin smooting techniques that I currently use MIGHT be out the window. I'll have to wait and see how the program looks before I decide. Word is, it may be too labor intensive, but IF a few pointers can be picked up to incorporate into the current editing technique that I use... well, that would be ok too.

Kristy Ann's shoot was an absolute blast. She was alot of fun to work with. I even hit a curb when we pulled over to get some shots.... result .... call Triple AAA for a new tire. It was ok cuz it had 40,000 miles on it and was down to the wear bars anyway. Cool thing is we didn't miss a beat as far as the photoshoot was concerned. Whew!

Anybody notice the thunderstorms that we typically get in May are now running about a month behind..... more weather shift? Wierd. I've also been hearing alot about the end of the world according to the prophecies. 2012 is coming.... but wait, I'm not done yet!!!
6/21/08 RANT - Sooooooo, as with any new internet website, along with the design, content and launch, comes the task of getting it to appear in the search engines, so that it is viewable by your prospective clientale. There are a number of ways.... meta tags, title pages, etc., so that the "robots" will pick it up. It all takes time. Some other ways are to trade links with other sites, pay for listings and join forums. I was amazed when I checked out probably one of the most popular forums on the net for brides. I was searching for ways to further introduce our new wedding website (BOBBULLARD.COM) It is a nationally recognized website and allows "in your area" brides to swap information, ask questions, get and give advice regarding all aspects of wedding related info. What I found were "RINGERS" planted in the forums. Yep, non-brides.... and in some cases even brides that have been "bought". A sad commentary indeed. If I decide to participate in this website's advertising program (which I doubt) I will surely report the suspected individuals to the customer service department so that an adequate house cleaning can occur. It is not fair to all of the legitimate business people in the industry who are offering their services with good faith. Apparently the feeling is that those unscrupulous individuals cannot make it on their own merit. Too bad / so sad. My advice: check with your local better business bureau to see if a vendor has any complaints against them. Have a comment: HERE

5/12/08 Get out of town! Yep, that's what I'm doing..... sort of. On the road for the rest of the week. I'll be working with DAVID BECKSTEAD (Voted one of the TOP 10 WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHERS IN THE WORLD BY POP PHOTO.COM) This is an excellent opportunity that I am very excited about. David's use of the camera amounts to sheer artistry. Grace, style, emotion.... and motion are words that come to mind. Stay tuned.
5/7/08 How's everyone doing? Finally we are getting some decent weather around here... nice to get out for an extended period of time. I'm on a 2 day shoot at the AMBER ROOM in Nashua with my good friend MIKE BROCHU. If you have never seen Mike's work.... in a word.... phenomenal (did I spell that right)? Think so. Anyway, hopefully it will be a new location for me for the model shoots that I do. The guys at the AMBER ROoM are great. Nice to be associated with the NO.1 Nightclub north of Boston!!!
NEXT WEEK is a big one. I've mentioned it here a few times but now it's only days away. I'll be away for 4 days working with one of the TOP 10 WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHERS IN THE WORLD as voted by POPULAR PHOTOGRAPHY. Wedding season (as they say) is here, and we are ramping up for a great time with all of our bride & grooms. Plans are also in the works to revamp the website. We'll see how that goes. 3/27/08 How's things? Just popped in for a quick update as to what's going on around here. Lot's of irons in the fire regarding being on the road for '08. First I have the "Wedding Workshop" coming up shortly and Vegas in October for 3 or 4 model shoots..... but additionally there is the possibility of JAMAICA in June and August, GLAMOURCON in Chicago and back to VEGAS for the AVN Awards as well as VEGAS yet again for WPPI (Wedding Professional Photographers International) I think I'm going to need to pick and choose which ones I attend , but have been invited to all of them. Oops, forgot CANCUN and DAYTONA BEACH!
There is a major difference being a photographer from NH. We basically have to HIBERNATE during the winter months around here due to the weather. Shooting outside is ideal and favored by most of my colleagues... which is why LA, Florida and the Jamaica trips keep us interested, cuz they allow us to shoot during the New England winter months. It also goes without saying that things run 24/7 in California, meaning there's more to do, more of the time. Florida comes in second, but there is still a clear distinction between the two.
When I retire (not from photography) I had visions of moving out to Arizona..... but if you want a beach, you have to drive 4.5hrs to get to one.... no thanks. I'd probably miss the 4 seasons, but this winter makes a strong case for warmer climate. ZZZZZZZZZZZ, anyway, that's a few years off.

Thanks to all of the Brides that are getting married or just recently got married...... but we have now selected the two Brides who will receive A FREE PHOTOSHOOT with their dress! Thanks again to all who submitted emails and photos. Much appreciated! We will be doing it again at some point during the next six months and hope to make it a regular feature here. If you are a Bride who just got married or is about to get married and would like to be considered for the next time we offer a FREE PHOTOSHOOT with your dress at various locations in the area, then please submit 2 photos of yourself and your dress (they can be separate) HERE. The idea behind this photoshoot is to be free of the restrictive time element of your actual wedding day. More Tech News: Just picked up the WACoM TABLET for use with our image cutout and extraction applications which we primarily use for our new "PINUP STYLE" and "RETRO" photography
3/8/08 I know it might not sound like much (as I'm a little behind the times here).... but..... we are picking up a copy of LIGHTROOM to handle all of the editing for weddings. For those of you not familiar with LIGHTROOM..... or those who care, lol, it is MUCH faster than PHOTOSHOP in terms of organization, editing and output. LIGHTROOM offers a multitude of "presets" for 1 click editing (very cool). A wedding that typically took wAAAAAAAAAY to long to edit can now be done in 75% less time. Photoshop will only need to be brought into play for any "retouching" of blemishes, etc.
We are hoping to be able to develop some "presets" to handle the model work that we do, which up to this point has been exhausting in terms of the high-end approach that we take for this area. Of course PHOTOSHOP will be taken into account for models due to the output restrictions needed for print and web presentation, especially for skin toning. Aren't you glad you now know???
UPDATE A short time ago I mentioned that I was hoping to work with one of the TOP 10 WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHERS in the business today. Well, now it's OFFICIAL and will be happening soon. I am still not releasing any info about this situation... but.... suffice to say that I am very excited as it will be yet another conceptual advantage to add to upcoming weddings. Combining our latest editing style with the new shoot style concept will offer KILLER images for those Brides who WANT TO PLAY!!! I know I'm looking forward to it!

1/29/08 WOW.... didn't realize it had been that long since I updated. Time flies when your having fun. Things like dental surgery, a computer crash, a furnace going bonkers, et., etc., etc., will do that to you. It has been NUTS with one thing after another. They say things come in 3's. I got mine one right after another..... let's hope the rest of the year is all uphill.
12/14/07 I LOVE the smell of fresh fallen snow!!! Are you buying that??? Me either! Makes me want to move to Arizona..... but it's a "dry heat". Don't believe that either.
Lots of projects in the works. Everything from NASCAR to Biker calenders and more. Just completed a few more BOUDOIR shoots for boyfriends and husbands just in time for Christmas. The "MAXIM STYLE" special that we offer is very popular. Can you say VALENTINES DAY? Check the "Boudoir" and "Maxim Style" pages for more info. Make sure you allow enough lead time so that your photos arrive in time.
Political stuff is FLYING! Been doing events with Sen. John McCain and the Romney Campaigns over the past few weeks and now the home stretch..... like 3 weeks left of hard stomping across the state.

STRAIGHT OUT! Just completed Keri's personal photoshoot and working on AMANDA's photos from the Jamaica trip..... which are coming out awesome BTW. She was fantastic. I really can't wait to unviel all the great shots from the Tease Um Bikini shoot.... but I want to do it all at once, if you know what I mean. Stay tuned. Hope all is well with everyone.

10/29/07 How's things? Great I hope. A milestone has past for me. My son just got his license and his first JOB! Now he gets a taste of the REAL WORLD! Should be interesting. BTW, he is AWESOME with the tunes and has actually DJ'd a couple of events for our sister company QUEEN CITY SOUND. Speaking of music, I am taking a day off from editing the Jamaica trip (which is coming out fabulous BTW) to hit the garden for VAN HALEN! I am very curious to see how Wolfgang does. I want to see if the band can still kick it like back in the day! Review coming shortly.

9/25/07 The MADE IN AMERICA tour with JOHN RATZENBERGER. It was great working with John, a man of many talents who is now raising awareness of the plight of the manufacturing industry in america today. This was the first stop of a multiple city national tour. It was a pleasure!

9/22/07 Upcoming shoot with "John Ratzenburger" (Cliff the mailman from Cheers) for his new TV show "Made in America" on Tuesday the 25th. Also, upcoming shoots with NIKKI and ALYSSA HART from Pennsylvania. All before I leave.
9/22/07 14 days.... but who's counting.... before I leave to shoot the '09 calender for a week in Jamaica. Yep, gonna be a blast.

9/4/07 Spent the morning with Senator John McCain while waiting for NH to decide when the primaries are going to be.
9/4/07 Hope everyone had a great summer, although it went by waaaaaaaaay too fast! My son NICK heads back to school tomorrow and I will be shooting AMANDA for her maternity photos on thursday. Look for the beautiful B&W set we're gonna do soon!!!

6/3/07 Just picked up the Nikkor 70-200mm ED VR lens!!! It is a wicked fast and sharp lens! It should be for the price...LOL! I'll be using it for the 1st time at the "PATRIOTS Golf Classic" tomorrow! Can't wait for that!
5/27/07 Hi All. For the next couple of days we will be tied to the Presidential Candidate Gov. Mitt Romney as he goes across the state of New Hampshire. Having already done events this political season with Barack Obama, John Edwards and John McCain, the political season is definitely here!!!
RANT....and beware:
Who are the super intellectual people that design or refurbish function facilities.... and place rooms over a ballroom??? What are they thinking? Not much I gather. I understand the need to maximize space with occupants for the sake of the almighty dollar....... but YOUR event in that ballroom will suffer........ and that doesn't mean late night. It can mean anytime if people are in their rooms. Why you ask? Anyone...... rather most understanding people realize from SOUND 101 that bass speakers are NON-DIRECTIONAL.... meaning that it is universal and has no direction. You can't tell where it's coming from. Sure you can tell that it's coming from the ballroom...... or that car right next to you...... but if you were IN the ballroom and closed your eyes..... where is it coming from??? The mids and highs ARE directional, you can tell where that is coming from. Anyway, your having your event and dancing has started around 8pm or so...... and all of a sudden you get paid a visit from the banquet coordinator telling you that you have to turn down the bass cuz the rooms are complaining!!!! You paid good money to rent the ballroom.... and for quality entertainment. The function hall KNEW this when they took your money!!! So now YOU have to sacrifice the quality of sound for your event, due to the fact that someone had a rough day and is going to bed early. It's not their fault...... but it's not yours either. Nope, It's not the banquet coordinators fault... and it certainly is not the DJs fault. He's doing his/her job. Guess who?
Some function facilities are going to the point of having you sign a waiver regarding sound when you book their place. Don't do it...... unless you are getting the room for NOTHING! Why should you have to have inferior sound quality because of poor design. You want the dance floor to PUMP. You want to FEEL the music. You want the dance floor to be jammed!!!
Most DJs will be blamed for this. The facility in most cases goes to the DJ to tell them to turn down the bass... not you, because you are the client and "we don't want to make waves". Question? What if the bass is already turned.... not down..... but entirely OFF??? Yep, it's OFF. Will that stop it? A BIG NO! Reason: there is STILL bass on the recording..... and the DJ can't change that.
SCENARIO AND SOLUTION: A school class is having their once in a lifetime prom...... and they are looking forward to a great night! We stress, no alcohol, no smoking, no sex....... but have a good time. So what do they have to look forward to....... you got it..... DANCING!!! Today's music is as you know, loaded with bass. So now let's take that away too! What happened? How come the music doesn't sound like it is supposed to? "We could have got a transistor radio if this is what it's going to be like".
This goes for Weddings and basically any other event. So what is the solution? DON'T SELL THE ROOMS OVER OR NEXT TO THE BALLROOM DURING MY EVENT. OH, AND NO, I WILL NOT PAY FOR THEM EITHER. I'LL GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, THANK YOU VERY MUCH! C'YA!
If you are in a club atmosphere it would be pretty stupid to have hotel rooms adjacent no? Soooooo, don't pay extra, don't sign a waiver and have your event someplace that is conducive to that very event. For facility designers and architects may I suggest one word:

5/19/07 How's everyone doing? Sorry, haven't been here in a couple of weeks. Tonight is the INTER-LAKES PROM and we plan to "rock the house" Guest DJ "Nick B" will be with us. Should prove to be a HOT night!!!
Well, well, well, we had our first BRIDEZILLA of '07. Very charming. 20 minutes into the reception all of her guests and relatives with the exception of her "core" 10 friends....... had left!!! She didn't make very many points with anyone. As a matter of fact, two of her bridesmaids told me that she only said two words to them all day....... "DO THIS"! Oh well, shows that being controlling, and self centered is not an attractive quality.
5/7/07 What a weekend! Saturday night we did Crystal and Dan's wedding at the Bow Lake Theater in Strafford and Sunday we were up at the Margate in Laconia for Sarah and Ryan. Both were very nice couples and we had a blast. Also, just completed Lisa and Al's wedding photos and she is extremely happy with all of our work!
INTER-LAKES HIGH SCHOOL PROM NIGHT 5/19/07 in Plymouth is slated to be a night to remember. We are looking forward to meeting everyone at The Common Man
Basically, it's kinda busy right now. It is certainly that time of year when we all want to get out of the house and enjoy the spring. I know for one that shooting with natural light makes for a very nice option as opposed to the studio setting
2/7/07 The highlight this week was meeting CURT SCHILLING of Boston RED SOX fame! Upcoming model shoot with "DELERIUM" this weekend and continuing to meet with the many Brides and Grooms that we met over this past bridal show season in our office. Can't wait until we can get outside again to photograph the many weddings and events scheduled for this year. 1/26/07 My son NICK'S 16th Birthday party with 40 of his closest friends from WEST HIGH SCHOOL!!! Transformed the place into "THE CLUB" complete with VIP ROOM. Everyone had a blast!
1/19/07 Thanks again for the AWESOME turnout at Bridal Expo 2007!!! Both companies will be at the Grappone Conference Center Show on January 21 in Concord NH. We contine over the next few weeks meeting with the Brides and Grooms that are looking to have have us work with them on their wedding day. The "fine Art" custom album is getting GREAT reviews! 12/26/06 Here's some photos from the most recent commercial shoot. This was for the CENTURY COUNCIL out of Washington DC in conjuction with the NH State Attorney Generals Office! 5 sites in 2 days! Whew!
12/18/06 Coming up this week. Working with the CENTURY COUNCIL out of Washington DC for the NH promotion of "WE DON"T SERVE TEENS" in conjuction with the State Attorney Generals Office on Monday and Tuesday.... We are happy to be providing both audio visual and photographic services for this event. then Wednesday and Thursday working with MASS A/V for TIMBERLAND USA doing their corporate event. Oh, and the wonderful experience of doing Christmas shopping at the last minute. Yech!
12/16/06 Just completed the shoot for the Manchester grand opening of the JARAD JEWELERS. We handled both audio visual services and photographic services for this event.
